We are often asked how to tell the manufacturing date of an Energy + PLC Battery

All Energy + batteries are date coded - here's a simple explanation

Every Energy + PLC battery has a manufacturing code on the label like the one shown above.

The first 4 digits indicate the manufacturing week number and year in the format WW YY - the remaining numbers are simply their manufacturing process numbers.

So in the example above, this battery was manufactured in Week 39 2023.
