Value Added Tax
Value Added Tax (VAT) is chargeable on all sales at the current rate of 20%; this tax applies to all sales in the UK.
Certain goods, such as mobility scooter batteries for the disabled, may be purchased VAT free subject to certain conditions and completion of a simple declaration of entitlement. Please contact us for further information.
Since Brexit, the VAT rules have changed and goods exported from Britain to the European Union will now be charged VAT free but customers will be liable to pay VAT in their own country upon receipt of the goods. As a trade deal was reached there will be no other tariffs or duties to be paid.
If you are purchasing goods from elsewhere in the world, again you will not have to pay this tax but you may be liable for additional tariffs or import duties levied in your country.
