If you have your licence plate number to hand, you can simply input this into our handy battery finder tool which will locate the best Yuasa battery for your vehicle. Lithium equivalents are linked at the bottom of each battery page if you’d prefer a lighter battery option. This is the easiest way to find a compatible battery for your vehicle although always check the dimensions and polarity of the battery is correct prior to purchase. The tool covers most vehicle brands and types although very old or very new bikes may not be included.

The vehicle registration finder can be located at the top left of the Motorcycle Batteries Page

By Vehicle Type

Our other motorbike battery finder allows you to search by the bike details, ideal if you don’t have your registration to hand or if this has not yet been received. Details you may need to input are: Brand, Model Number or Name, Year, Petrol or Diesel, Engine Size (CC) etc. This will find you the best suggestions for compatible batteries for your bike.

The Vehicle Type Finder Tool can be located just below the registration finder on the left of the Motorcycle Batteries Page

If you have the current battery installed in your vehicle you can use the specifications to filter results on our system. If you select any Yuasa motorcycle battery page there is a section on the page on the left-hand side called “Filter Results”. You can find an equivalent battery by inputting the voltage, capacity and dimensions of the battery you have installed.

Our sales team can usually also find the equivalent battery if you have the model number of the one currently installed.

The results filter can be located just below the registration finder on the left of any battery type page. As an example, here is the page for Yuasa YTX Batteries

Now I have my battery… what charger do I need?

We have linked suitable chargers for each battery product at the bottom of each listing page so you can easily find the best charger for your battery. Considerations when choosing a charger can be voltage, charging current, battery size, charging speed and, of course, type of battery.  Always check the charger is correctly rated for your battery and never use a lead acid battery charger to charge lithium batteries or vice versa.
