Can also be used in 1938-1964 Harley-Davidson FL-series to replace the original 66006-29 or CB2-6 battery. B49-6 is not exact match as the terminal positions are different and the overall size is slightly smaller but it is the closest replacement currently available.

Does this battery come with the electrolyte acid pack?
No this battery is supplied dry as we cannot ship the acid separately under the new EPP Regulations so you will have to get the battery filled locally. If you are collecting from our warehouse, we can pre-fill the battery for you.
What are the EPP Regulations?
The EPP (Explosives, Precursors and Poisons) Regulations introduced on 1 July 2018 make it illegal to supply or ship sulphuric acid at more than 15% concentration to any member of the public - so all "dry charged" batteries now have to be shipped without acid.

Does this battery come charged?
They come with around 70% charge from the factory so once filled they can be fitted and used immediately as long as your bike is used on a regular basis. For bikes only used on an occasional basis we would suggest a full charge prior to install and on-going maintenance charging.
